The training objective is to introduce qualitative risk analysis using the tool Bow-Tie. Bow-Tie software is a recognized tool for mapping barriers, including rig operators preparing Application for Consent (AOC) for operation on the Norwegian continental shelf, but the course also has a value for other sectors, such as infrastructure, transport, land-based industries and aviation.
Target group: Relevant for anyone involved in security work, qualitative risk or professionals seeking a risk management tool for mapping barrier status using surveys.
Day 1, kl. 09:00-16:00 – Module: Risk analysis using the Bow-Tie method
- Introduction to operational and HSE risk management
- Bow-Tie method in risk management
- Bow-Tie theory
- Interactive group work with Bow-Tie
- “Best practice”
Day 2, kl. 09:00-15.00 – Module: Software training
- Training step-by-step in chart structure
- Connection to the management system
- Lecturer shows techniques and participants tests individually
- Report and printing
