Safetec’s decommissioning offering is headed by Louis Findlay who has worked in a technical/ process safety role on a number of decommissioning projects at varying phases since 2009. Louis contributed to industry guidance released at the Offshore Europe Conference in 2017 titled: ‘Guidance for UK Safety Case management during End of Life (EoL), decommissioning and dismantling’. Louis is also very experienced in the application of the OGUK ‘Guidelines for Comparative Assessment in Decommissioning Programmes’ through facilitation of hazard identification workshops.
