Through our work within maritime safety and our employees experience (e.g. 1st Officer) Safetec has the knowledge and experience necessary for delivering services within safety, emergency preparedness and security to ports and ship owners. Safetec is among others certified by the Norwegian Coastal Directorate as an RSO (Recognized Security Organization) for ports, making us able to assist port authorities in the process of being certified according to the IMO ISPS code. We have also have prolonged experience with emergency preparedness analyses, risk analyses and assessments of marine operations.

Safetec delivers services within the following areas to ports and ship owners: 

  • The ISPS code seek to establish a world-wide system for securing ports and ships against terrorist attacks. Ports and ship owners are to establish plans according to the ISPS-code. The plans have to be approved by the relevant authority.  
  • HSE-consultancy related to logistics and base services, establishment and implementation of emergency preparedness plans and assitance related to ISO-certification.
  • Emergency preparedness, evacuation, and risk analyses.
